Real Estate is an ever evolving and moving target.  I pride myself in keeping up with the new trends and laws, while maintaining the foundation of great business practices.

With over 13 years of experience, this never gets old or boring.  Each new day, each new client,  brings an opportunity to educate and encourage... I view this as a calling.  I get excited about the process and the relationships.  I make it ALL about YOU never about me.  My clients will tell you. I make this fun and interactive.  This process is a group effort, and while stressful, can also be a rewarding learning experience, and an opportunity to grow. (for us all)

My energy and devotion to this industry, go far beyond the typical expectations.  I have served on the Carroll County Assoc. of Realtor's board for over 10 years, to include the executive offices.  I am proud to be the 2015-2016 President.  I didn't stop there, I am also involved at the state and national levels. What does this mean to my clients?  A LOT, I have gained crucial knowledge and skills far beyond the ordinary or required.  I am able to tap into resources, and use this wisdom in negotiating for and educating my clients.

I bring passion that is unsurpassed.  Knowledge that is cutting edge and most of all a TRUE PARTNER in one of the most amazing and exciting moments of life....

I welcome the opportunity to advocate on your behalf.

Thank you for visiting our website!

In the marketplace, I have served in many capacities over the last 20 years. I have worked in the banking industry, owned and operated a small retail business, labored in the printing industry with layout and design, I write proposals and invoices for my husband's painting and construction business, served as an activity director in an assisted living community, manage and lease rental properties and have enjoyed a successful career as a Realtor for the last 16 years. With this background I use my life experience in helping people buy and sell not just houses, but homes. I understand the emotions that people go through in life's transitions and I am committed to making those transitions smoother for those who call on me. Friendships are formed and my clients become family to me.

I have been a resident of Carroll County for 14 years where I have enjoyed raising my family. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I love serving God, my family and others, in various ways, both in the Church and in the community. One of my lifelong dreams was to play the drums and 6 years ago that dream became a reality! I now share the talent God has given me by serving on the church's worship team.

I would love the opportunity to help you with your real estate needs. I am just a call or click away to answer any questions or needs that you may have. I look forward in helping you through your life's transitions!!!

PERSONAL BACKGROUND:

I grew up in Westminster and recently built a house in Eldersburg. My wife and I were high school sweethearts and we have two beautiful children; a daughter and a son. I am in the process of pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Although I’ve always been interested in property, real estate hasn’t always been my passion; I have worked in a few different service areas over the years. I previously managed the Hard Rock Café in Washington, DC and I am currently a Contracts Representative for a defense contractor. In my spare time I enjoy working outside, playing with my two German Shepherds, running, and spending time with my family. I currently serve as the CFO for my daughter’s AAU basketball club, the Mid Atlantic Legacy.

I look forward to helping you sell your house or find the perfect home for your family!

Local Roots - I have been a resident of Baltimore County for most of my life. I grew up in Upperco, attending Franklin High School, as did my mother and father.  Later, attending Western Maryland College (now McDaniel), I majored in Psychology and Fine Art.  After a few years in Northern Virginia and DC, I moved back to Baltimore, and have lived in Owings Mills with my husband for almost 30 years.

Work Life – My career path has involved Real Estate from the beginning – first, in Commercial Real Estate as a Lease Administrator and Property Manager and since 1991, as a Residential Realtor, beginning with O’Conor, Piper & Flynn.

Family Ties – Being near some of my family has allowed us to gather often and I’ve had the good fortune to enjoy watching our children grow even closer as they mature, go on to college and “fly the nest”. Many times I’ve heard that at the end of our lives, what matters are not the things around us, but the memories we have to re-visit.  I try to cherish every moment I have with family.

Living in the Moment – I have a passion to live a colorful life!  I crave new experiences, new places, and new faces.  Perhaps that is why I love the real estate business – so many opportunities to meet and talk with people!  My leisure time allows me to indulge my favorite activities  - cooking, gardening, painting, day-tripping and traveling with my husband and son.

Specialties: Buyer's Agent, Listing Agent, Equestrian properties

Several years ago, I decided to retire from my career as a professional horse trainer.  I had spent nearly 20 years teaching riders, training horses, and traveling the country competing in horse shows and felt I needed a break from life on the road.

Looking for something new to do, I joined with my partner to renovate and resell a distressed property, and I was hooked!   I got my real estate license and began specializing in buying, renovating, and selling distressed homes.  My experience working on these homes provides my real estate clients a high level of confidence, whether they are purchasing a home needing some remodeling, or looking for that first home, or they just want an educated eye helping them through the home buying process.   They know that I have a very "hands on" approach and appreciate my knowledge and creativity.

Of course, my passion for horses and extensive knowledge of horse properties makes me a valuable asset to a buyer looking for any kind of horse property. Whether you are looking for a working show barn, or a small hobby farm with just a few acres, having a realtor with genuine horse knowledge makes all the difference.  If you are a seller needing to sell your horse property, who better to represent your property than an educated horseman who also happens to sell real estate!

When I'm not busy with real estate,  I'm enjoying my farm in Westminster,  caring for several retired show horses, a couple of rescue draft horses, and several miniature donkeys through my rescue, Little Longears Miniature Donkey rescue.

I was born and raised in Carroll County where I was able to enjoy the beauty of my grandparent’s farm, participate in sports at Westminster High School, and be actively involved in Young Life and my church. I spent the last 6 years in Salisbury, MD where I pursued a career in education. While I loved working with the children and families I was fortunate enough to meet, I decided to return to my roots and pursue a career in real estate.

Real estate has provided me with an opportunity to use my strengths as an educator to assist my clients in one of the greatest learning opportunities they will have. The passion and determination I have for serving the people in my community, as well as this field, helps me to meet the needs of each individual to the best of my ability.  I am honored to be a part of OWR and look forward to what is to come!

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

I grew up in Carroll County and upon graduation of high school, I decided to venture to New York to pursue a Psychology degree. I have always wanted to work with children since I was a little girl, however; when I came back to Maryland I took a job working for an apartment community instead of children and ended up staying. I have over 10 years of experience working in Property Management. I have held titles from Concierge to Leasing Manager to Assistant Property Manager. My experience is vast within the Property Management field.

I have been married for almost 10 years and have 4 beautiful children between my husband and myself. When I got pregnant recently with my daughter Chloe, I decided that I wanted to have more time with my family and started looking at other options in the workforce. When working with OWR was presented to me, I was ecstatic about the incredible opportunity to work with this wonderful team, learn a different aspect to "property management", and the freedom that this position would give me to be able to stay home with my baby as well. I am excited to be a part of OWR and look forward to what lies ahead.
